High resolution event purchased digital images are a download product, the images are not emailed. Images will be posted Monday following the event ready for download at 5pm Pacific Time. The images will be online for 28 days after posting to download.
Once images have been posted today (Monday) at 5pm PDT, changes, trades, exchanges, swaps or other high resolution images can not be made. *Choose your pose on or before Sunday after the event by emailing, text or calling in your image number. Digital images purchased may be downloaded the following Monday after the event at 5pm Pacific Time. We do everything possible ensure the message is consistent and event purchased images are downloaded beginning the Monday following the event then for 25-30 days depending on the next class.
Depending on when you inquire to have the images retrieved will allow us to properly calculate the data retrieval fee. Data retrieval fees start at $20 and can be as high as several hundreds of dollars*.
* If you reach out to us for an image taken in 2006, the amount of time it will take to locate the image(s) is anticipated to be several hours.
You are correct, you would have not received an email your image(s). This is because the fliers, staff, receipts, website and more clearly state event purchased images are not emailed or texted.
Depending on how many moths have passed since your class will allow us to calculate a data retrieval fee.
Yes, you may choose your pose (aka image number). We offer image selection at the event on a computer at the photo table. We also upload the images to the website during the event. And, we allow you to choose your image number until Sunday evening 5pm Pacific Time.
The great thing about being able to do this after the event is you can do it while traveling. Access the gallery with the images, then text or email us your image number. These are in the format of "IMG 0123RG."
By offering this, it helps eliminate the awkward conversation that time wasnt allowed to choose the image number or pose number.
If you do not choose your image or pose number, you authorize the staff to choose the best pose possible. No matter what, once images are posted to the high resolution gallery, images may not be changed, swapped, traded or other. Due to the nature of the digital product, digital images are not something that can be exchanged
While we photograph the CPOA Dinners we offer our services to view and choose images at the photo table. We also upload the images into the "Choose your pose" gallery at the event, then the Order/View at the event, Friday night or Saturday morning.
Choosing pose/image options
1) During the dinner event
2) Choose your pose by Sunday night 5pm Pacific Time by email, text or calling in the image number. This gallery expires Sunday 5pm.
3)Choose from the order/view gallery by Sunday 5pm Pacific Time.
OR
4) Post event ordering in the order/view gallery within 28 days of the event.
Previous class images are always intended to be kept on file. We do not guarantee that your past class images are backed up. We agree to process the orders made in a timely manner. To locate your images from a previous class will incur a data retrieval fee.
A data retrieval fee is required to all orders that require the staffs time to locate images, aka data.
An easy comparison is when someone goes to work and a task is going to take 20 minutes, is it ok to do the task without being paid? No. Everyone works to be paid.
With as much work that has gone into keeping the message consistent, we expect people to be able to follow up in a timely manner to download their images. With as much time people spend on their phones, it is almost impossible to say there wasn't time to download the image(s) over weeks.
As a reminder: Digital images purchased at the event are NOT emailed or texted to you. Even purchased images are a download product. This message is consistent at the event with the fliers, your receipt and the staffs verbal comments. Data retrieval fees vary depending on the amount of time that has passed since your event. All images follow production and stored as local image space becomes limited. Retrieving images uses additional studio resources not included in your image sale.
